Subversion

Subversion is a combination of logical and strategy game genres. We command a team of well-trained specialists, whose task is to infiltrate buildings equipped with the most modern security systems. Introversion Software is responsible for production - one of the most successful independent developers, who previously created titles such as Uplink, Darwinia and Defcon.

In Subversion the purpose always sanctifies the means. The repertoire of methods available to players is exceptionally rich. This includes, but is not limited to, hacking, sneaking, sabotage, acrobatics, the use of advanced technical equipment and explosives, or the use and deception of staff at a facility. We have at our disposal a number of modern gadgets, such as motion sensors and spatial scanners, thanks to which we can learn about the layout of rooms.

If everything goes according to plan, nobody will even realize that our people were in the building. However, if we make a mistake and security guards fall on our tracks, we will always have to try to escape, most often using violence. All this together creates a game that gives us a chance to carry out the burglaries known from films such as Ocean's Eleven or Sneakers.

Visually, the creators aimed at a style that can be described as a three-dimensional architectural plan. This is achieved through the use of clear, simplified shapes of individual objects and the ubiquitous blue colour.
