OpenCritic
A space shooter in which we sit at the helm of a fighter and take part in 40 different storyline missions. In Subdivision Infinity DX we fight in interstellar battles and boss fights, explore, search for raw materials, and unlock new ships.
Subdivision Infinity DX is a space shooter developed by the independent Mistfly Studios team and released by Blowfish Studios. Among the sources of inspiration, the developers include classics from the 8-bit era (Gyruss, Life Force, The Guardian Legend), as well as much younger titles (from Freelancer, through the Mass Effect series, to Everspace).
Story
In Subdivision Infinity DX we play the role of Sergeant Jed Riddle. Our task is to discover the reasons behind the breakdown of radio communications by one of our spaces mines. While carrying out his mission, the hero quickly finds himself chasing after a dark secret.
Mechanics
In Subdivision Infinity DX we sit at the helm of a space fighter. The game consists of forty storyline missions played in five regions of the galaxy. We observe the action from the pilot's eye (FPP) or from a camera located behind the ship (TPP). In the game we mainly take part in interstellar battles and duels against powerful bosses, however, the production also allows us to calmly explore the universe or search for valuable resources on the surface of asteroids. In addition, as we move forward, we not only gain access to more fighters, but we also unlock a variety of improvements to increase their combat potential.
Technical issues
Subdivision Infinity DX features high-quality three-dimensional graphics thanks to Unreal Engine 4 technology. The authors have designed detailed models of spacecraft and convincingly looking celestial bodies, and the space skirmishes are diversified by spectacular explosions.

GamingTrend: 65 / 100
This title is not a AAA space sim, but it is enough to occupy you in short sprints of intense Space dogfighting action. The maneuverability and ability to hop into the next big battle or next mission in bite size easy to pick up and put down ability make this a great addition for those who do like space shooters but don't want to commit a massive amount of focus or attention to play. Just pick it up and save the galaxy!
NintendoWorldReport: 6 / 10 by John Rairdin
undefined.Subdivision Infinity DX is a functional 3D Space Shooter that handles great but does absolutely nothing to define itself. It serves as yet another example of a game that in the mobile space exhibits above average effort, yet falls firmly into the realm of mediocrity when ported to a full console. There is certainly some fun to be had here, but it is all fun that has been done better by other 3D space shooters on Switch.
PlayStation Universe: 6 / 10 by Alan Strawbridge
A shallow but stylish and challenging single-player space blaster, which despite the forgettable storyline, offers a good few hours of alien ass-kicking at a budget price.
