Strobophagia is a psychedelic survival horror, in which the player takes on the role of a guest of a techno festival, trying to get out of a party that turned out to be dangerous. The game was developed and published by Green Tile Digital.
Strobophagia is an unusual survival horror, the action of which takes place during the techno festival ( Headless Rave Festival). The game features an original atmosphere and graphic design. The Swedish indie studio Green Tile Digital is responsible for the development and release of this game and it is its debut project.
Plot
In Strobophagia we play the role of a guest of Headless Rave Festival - a techno event organized in the woods. Unfortunately, it soon turns out that the organisers of this event are extremely dangerous - they plan to murder all those who arrive. The player must find a way out of the woods.
Mechanics
Strobophagia is quite a classic survival horror, in which we observe the action from the first person perspective. The player's task is to survive and learn about the main plot of the game. In order to do this, we must carefully explore the three-dimensional environment and solve twisted puzzles that are not always based on standard laws of logic.
The main hero also has a smartphone and can use this device to locate important places and talk to other party guests.
Game modes
In Strobophagia we can only play alone. The core of the game is a feature campaign.
Technical aspects
Strobophagia has a very original, three-dimensional graphic design. The game uses light and darkness in a quite unique way - the darkness is illuminated by colourful quasi-fluorescent lights, which fits well with the techno party mood and fits in with the psychedelic atmosphere of the game.
