Strike Commander is another simulator provided by Chris Roberts from Origin. Unlike the previous productions of this guest, this time we will not fight in space, but in the air, with the help of famous and liked fighters. The action of the game takes us to the near future, namely 2011, when the world's superpowers, torn apart by various conflicts, have to use the services of mercenaries. The seat of the latter is Turkey, which, using vague provisions in international law, has given the status of diplomats to 'freelancers'. The player will play the role of one of the "pilots for rent", who belonging to the formation called The Wildcats will perform various combat missions all over the world.

As usual, Origin Systems company did not go for an easy task and apart from elements characteristic for flight simulators, it also included other elements in Strike Commander. The plot and the way it is conducted is similar to an adventure game. We will learn about current events and available missions from conversations with other members of The Wildcats and its superiors. In the later phase of the game there will also appear an economic thread, in which the user will have to take care of the armament replenishment by himself. Unlike other simulators, Strike Commander does not reward players who waste their available resources on destroying everything that comes up in front of the sight. On the contrary, the use of weapons must be carefully considered and it must be borne in mind that a rocket that has been wasted unnecessarily will have an impact on the financial condition of the company.
