A continuation of Capcom's famous fighting game series, facing off against the rival Tekken series, with which the popular Street Fighter has been fighting a fierce battle for supremacy on the market for years. The creators of both series decided to find a way to reconcile the aforementioned brands by borrowing characters from them on a reciprocal basis.
