A promotional game for the Stranger Things series, published by Netflix and developed by BonusXP (the creators of e.g. The Incorruptibles and Cavemania). Stranger Things: The Game is an action-adventure game with stealth, platform, and logic puzzle elements. It is set in an American town of Hawkins in 1984. When several local children go missing, Sheriff Jim Hopper tries to find them, unaware that their disappearance in only the tip of the iceberg. Apart from Hopper, you can also play as other characters, such as Lucas and Nancy. Each character has different abilities, which help you solve various problems. During the game, you find waffles and garden gnomes that allow you to unlock bonus elements. The visuals are inspired by old 8-bit console productions.
