The seventh expansion to the Stellaris space strategy, in which we discover the secrets of the ancient races. The main theme of the add-on are civilizations of the Precursors, which we get to know thanks to archaeological excavations.

Stellaris: Ancient Relics Description
Stellaris: Ancient Relics is another story expansion to the space strategy game calles Stellaris. Expansion focuses on the thread of discovering the secrets of ancient civilizations and introduces a number of elements and mechanics related to archaeology. The game was developed and released by the authors of the base game, i.e. Paradox Interactive (also known for its many other strategy games, such as Imperator: Rome or Surviving Mars).
Mechanics
Stellaris: Ancient Relics focuses on the theme of ancient, fallen civilizations - the Precursors. Two races of this type have appeared in the game - The Baol Organism and The Zroni, endowed with psionic powers. Each of them has its own history and characteristic anomaly.
During the game, players get the opportunity to conduct archaeological research on extinct planets - the Relic Worlds. Thanks to their efforts they can discover ancient technology and learn about the history.
The expansion introduces a new type of resource to the game - smaller artifacts that allow players to strengthen their empire.
Game modes
Stellaris: Ancient Relics does not introduce any new game modes. As in the base game, one can play it alone or with others - in the online multiplayer mode, which allows for both competition and cooperation.
Technical aspects
Stellaris: Ancient Relics does not make any changes to the graphic design of the base game.

Ancient Relics - New Expansion to Stellaris
Paradox Interactive's Space Strategy - Stellaris - will receive another story expansion, entitled Stellaris: Ancient Relics. The leitmotif of the expansion will be ancient, fallen civilizations, whose history we will learn through archaeological research.
