Product designed for younger players, in which we control the character of a girl named Lisa. We follow the fate of the main character, her faithful steed and other people living in the small seaside town of Jorvik.

The Mystery of Star Riders is the first of the four titles in the Starshine series, a combination of a simple adventure game and an arcade. This product has been developed mainly for younger women's section of society.

During the game we get to know the story of a girl named Lisa, who moved with her father to the seaside town of Jorvik. The main character befriends a white steed called Starshine on the first day of school and, trying to cure a sick animal, reaches the records of dark events that took place in the area in the distant past. When steering Lisa's character, we need to get to know many of these secrets, determining why one of Jorvik's inhabitants, despite the passage of time, did not grow old at all or discover the evil plans of an organization called The Dark Core.

Own gameplay consists in careful exploration of the town and adjacent areas, conversations with independent figures, collecting interactive objects and solving simple riddles. It is worth mentioning here that Lisa does not have to act alone, because her school friends can help her to solve some problems.

The already mentioned steed also plays an important role. Starshine can be boarded with the intention of exploring the environment faster or reaching locations that are not accessible in any other way. The horse should be carefully cared for, and we can enter equestrian competitions, thus winning valuable prizes.

The main character's struggle is observed from the perspective of a third person, and during the game we move through a three-dimensional environment. It should be noted that the game is characterized by very low hardware requirements.
