Starcom: Nexus is a sandbox game that allows you to explore space. Wx3 Labs studio is responsible for production.

Plot

In Starcom: The Nexus player takes on the role of a young ship captain who has just finished his education. During one mission, it is transferred to another galaxy. His job is to find a way home.

Mechanics

Starcom: The Nexus offers great freedom. The player sits at the helm of the ship and can explore through obstacles the space filled with planets, anomalies and secrets waiting to be discovered. This world is inhabited by a number of different factions, which can trade with it or have tasks to perform. However, not every inhabitant of the galaxy is friendly. At certain moments it is necessary to fight in hostile units. All skirmishes are conducted in real time.

An important element of the game is also the expansion of your ship. The devs have prepared special modules, from which you can build your own ship. In addition, 150 different technologies can be discovered during the adventure, which will improve its parameters such as speed and resistance to damage.

Technical aspects

Starcom: The Nexus has a minimalistic graphic design. The ship is shown in the top view, and more planets appear in the background. Apart from fighting, each action is performed through a special menu.
