Star Wars: The Old Republic - Knights of the Fallen Empire is the next free story-driven expansion pack for BioWare’s MMORPG set in the universe of Star Wars, released in 2011. Just as previous add-ons, Knights of the Fallen Empire introduces a new chapter in the history of the Old Republic and the Sith Empire. Unlike the previous ones, however, this one focuses more on storytelling and singleplayer-designed content. The developer’s ambition was to return to BioWare-style narrative known from classic RPGs. Of course, other than the story, they prepared a plethora of attractions, including new items, locations, and quests. Additionally, level cap for the characters was raised to 65.

Fallen Empire’s 16-chapter campaign features the adventures of the Outlander – the veteran of the war depicted in the base game and other add-ons. The player has to choose which side of the conflict he is going to join. The Galaxy’s political stage, already divided between the conflicting Empire and Old Republic, becomes even more unstable when a new faction raises, putting an end to existing alliances and the status quo. You start the new adventure on experience level 60. On your way you meet many non-player characters, who can join your team or become your sworn enemies. The game’s scenario constantly puts you up against tough choices that shape both the story and the fate of the Galaxy.
