Continuation of "Star Wars: Starfighter". Once again we are dealing with a simple space simulator, this time referring to the second episode of "Star Wars". 15 main missions to play.

Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter is the official continuation of a game from 2001. Unlike its predecessor (Star Wars: Starfighter), which was released only on Sony's console, this time a version for Xbox is also available. Both editions of the game present a very similar level of execution. This applies in particular to the gameplay. Visually, the version released on Microsoft's console looks slightly better. The previous installment of the series was based on the "Phantom Menace". The described game refers to the second episode of Star Wars, or "Attack of the Clones".

Unlike the first installment, in which we had three playable characters, this time two characters were offered. At the same time they are regulars returning from Starfighter. Less frequently we play the role of Nym, a space pirate, using a ship called Havoc. The stages with the participation of the Jedi master Adi, and the pilot of the title Jedi starfighter are much more frequent. This time there are fifteen missions to play. The devs have also prepared an extensive tutorial, enabling us to familiarize ourselves with the basic elements of the game.

The character chosen for a given mission, despite appearances, plays a very important role. This is because it influences the appearance of individual levels. Missions involving Nym resemble classic space simulators. We use various types of missiles, getting rid of the opponents. The stages with Adi's participation are much more interesting because she can use the Force. As a result, we have the opportunity to eliminate enemies in a more interesting way, or to create force fields, capable of protecting our spacecraft.

Missions prepared by the devs take place both in space and over the planets' surfaces. The tasks assigned by the command include, among other things, liquidation of selected targets or protection of allied units. In addition, we have the ability to discover hidden targets, which gives us the option to unlock valuable bonuses. These can be interesting videos or even more pages of a funny comic book. Visually, the game looks much better than its predecessor. This applies mainly to the detail of flying units. Jedi Starfighter features a simple multiplayer mode for two people, in which duels are played on a split-screen.
