Star Wars Battlefront Companion is a mobile app accompanying the online shooter from EA DICE. After logging onto their Star Wars: Battlefront accounts players can get mobile access to a wide database, including their statistics, character progression, and game scores. The app also lets you view online ranks and discuss with other players on the forum, as well as use your mobile device to display a map while playing the game.

Star Wars Battlefront Companion for AND and iOS is a mobile app designed for fans of Star Wars: Battlefront, an online shooter released on PC and consoles. This program was developed by Electronic Arts, and it is distributed for free.

Gameplay

Star Wars Battlefront Companion for AND and iOS aims to enhance players’ experience with Star Wars: Battlefront. After logging onto their accounts players can gain access to a wide database, including their statistics, character progression, and game scores.

The app also lets you view online ranks and communicate with other players on the forum, as well as browse news on the game. There is also an option of using your mobile device to display a map while playing Star Wars: Battlefront.

Another bonus feature of the program is a strategy mini-game entitled Base Command. Here, you become head of a Rebel base, who has to repel attacks of Imperial forces. To do this, you can use units and vehicles from the original film, e.g X-Wing fighters, and heroes, like Luke Skywalker. You can summon the characters and battle machines by using cards from your personally composed deck.

Each success in Base Command is rewarded with credits, which can then be spent in Star Wars: Battlefront. This actually works both ways – victories and achievements on PC or consoles unlock new Base Command cards, which can be added to your deck.

Star Wars: Battlefront Series

A series of shooters set in the universe of Star Wars. Initially, the American studio Pandemic, also known for such productions as Full Spectrum Warrior or Mercenaries, while its publisher was LucasArts. Later, as a result of ownership changes from 2009-2013, the rights to the brand were acquired by Electronic Arts corporation. The creation of subsequent installments was then entrusted to the Swedish studio DICE, experienced in the production of first-person games and having such series as Battlefield or Mirror's Edge. In 2024, meanwhile, Aspyr Media joined the group of companies that officially put their stamp on the described brand.
