A cosmic real-time strategy based on the popular Star Trek series: The Next Generation. Faced with the Borg invasion, the forces of the Federation, the Klingons and the Romulan must work together to overcome the deadly danger.

The years 1999-2001 were recognized by fans of Star Trek as the golden times of games embedded in this universe. It was then that a number of simulators and strategies referring to the hits of the big and small screen were created. Activision decided to take advantage of the record-breaking Star Trek series: The Next Generation and serve players a cosmic RTS, where they could direct the actions of Captain Picard and the USS Enterprise-E crew.

Action Star Trek: Armada was imprisoned after the end of the wars with Dominion. The alliance of the United Federation of Planets, the Clingolan and Romulan Empire can soon enjoy peace and quiet. Unexpectedly, the USS Preminition ship attacked by Borg units arrives from the future. Captain Jean-Luc Picard, who was in a hurry to help, learns about plans for an invasion that could destroy the factions that form an alliance.
