Star Fox Guard WiiU

Star Fox Guard for the WiiU is the next production from the Nintendo team, a company known from such series as Mario Kart, Pokemon, Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda. The title was originally announced during the E3 conference in 2014, but at that time it functioned under the name Project Guard. The main designer of the game is the famous Shigeru Miyamoto, co-founder of most of the most important brands of the Japanese company.

Story

The title is a spin-off of the Star Fox series, which tells the story of the adventures of Grippy Toad - the uncle of Slippy Toad. The hero is engaged in the extraction of rare minerals, but he is being continually disturbed by various opponents that we must stop.

Mechanics

Star Fox Guard for the WiiU is a tower defense game. An interactive map of the location is displayed on the screen of the pad, which we can use to set up defensive cameras, that shoot at the advancing enemies. On the TV you will see the footage from all twelve cameras. In total, the developers have prepared about 100 missions, but that is not all, as they have also designed a simple editor that allows you to place opponents in specific locations and then share the level with other players. Of course, you can also download the works of other people.

The game is added to Star Fox Zero for free, but it can also be purchased separately through digital distribution.
