Star Child Description
Star Child is a 2.5D platform game developed by Playful Corporation - a team whose portfolio includes Super Lucky's Tale. The production was released on PS4 by GameTrust.
Story
The main character of Star Child is Spectra, who sets off with her companion on a dangerous journey to a alien planet. On the spot, the protagonist discovers a hitherto unknown force threatening the existence of the whole world. The heroin is forced to take matters in her own hands and try to stop the danger before it is too late.
Mechanics
The action in Star Child is observed from the side. The game is based on a formula developed by classic representatives of the genre, so during the game we travel through various locations, jump over platforms, avoid traps and battle numerous enemies. The heroine has the ability to take control of the world around her (and her abilities increase as she progresses in the adventure), which she uses to solve puzzles as well as to face enemies.
Technical aspects
Star Child is designed for VR goggles, which are required for fun. The title features three-dimensional visuals, characterized by an interesting, cartoonish style and neon colors evoking associations with the cyberpunk current.
