Action/FPS game with cRPG elements undoubtedly inspired by the loud movie "Enemy at the Gate". (Enemy of the Gates). The action was set during World War II, in the autumn of 1942 in the besieged city of Stalingrad. The Third Reich is at the height of its military power, its territory already covers the whole of Europe, and the annihilation of Russia seems to be only a matter of time. Armoured units of the German army wreak havoc in the ranks of the Soviet troops and finally reach Stalingrad. The Russians receive an order from Stalin himself "to defend until the last drop of blood", while the Germans receive an order from Hitler himself "to conquer at any price" - one of the bloodiest and most fiercest battles of the Second World War begins.

The player becomes a young Russian boy thrown to defend the city along with hundreds of other men and women. Gradually, he gains experience and becomes an excellent sniper spreading fear in German troops. The character of the game is inseparable from this fact. We don't run armed to the teeth with a heros and literally massacre our opponents, but we are a real sniper, i.e. we move like a shadow under the cover of the terrain and give few, albeit accurate and deadly shots. The entire Stalingrad action takes place in a besieged city. The creators conscientiously reconstructed the then state of Stalingrad, ransacked houses, countless number of ruined and bombed buildings, etc., as well as the number of people in the city. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that during the game, damage arrives and we can see how the city gradually turns into ruins. This means that if a building is damaged in the initial tasks, it will remain so until the end of the game.

The game contains 24 historical weapons divided into seven classes. Each weapon has 12 coefficients, each with three levels of improvement. There are a number of very different missions to complete (e.g. reconnaissance, elimination of a specific target, mine roads, etc.) connected by a single extended story. Stalingrad uses a very advanced 3D graphics engine Phoenix 3D (multipass texturing, real time shadower, real time lightning, pixel and vertex shaders, etc.). In addition to single-player gameplay, multi-player gameplay is possible in several modes, including cooperative mode.
