SpyLeaks Description
SpyLeaks, released on PC and X360, is a result of cooperation between independent studios HeartBit Interactive and The Benjamin Focus Production. The game was created by two developers - Francesco Ficarelli and Matteo Nicolotti.
Plot
The main characters in the game are Jules La Grande, head of the intelligence agency SpyLeaks, and his best agent named Spy. Together, the heroes try to stop international villains from implementing a cunning plan that poses a huge threat to the whole world.
Mechanics
The game combines elements of a logical game, arcade, and a shmup shooter. The creators have prepared 35 levels. 25 of them are logical and arcade challenges, in which the player has to move elements of the environment in such a way as to neutralize enemies or bypass traps. The next 5 are simple shmup shooters. The whole is complemented by 5 strictly arcade levels, where the main obstacle is the time limit.
Technical aspects
The graphics in SpyLeaks are maintained in the style of games from the 8-bit era. The creators used 2D graphics with a limited palette of colors, simple animations, and a visible pixelization effect. The plot is told through the cartoon cut-scenes.
