Sports Party (2008) Description
Sports Party takes you on a fabulous tropical island where you can take part in a summer sports tournament. The game was developed by Destineer and released by Ubisoft.
The sports you can play are: basketball in three variations, cricket, volleyball, badminton, golf, horseshoe pitching, and lawn darts. Each of the sports can be played on three difficulty levels, which you can adjust while playing. You have full freedom in selecting the sport you want to play and switch between them as you like.
As other games of the type, Sports Party is designed for multiplayer (up to 4 players), as only then it spreads its wings and lets you feel the competitive spirit. Of course, you can also play solo.
Just as in other sport games released on Wii, you can use Wiimote in a way that corresponds with a given sport, turning it into a badminton paddle or a golf club. Using the controller, you hit, throw, dribble and serve to score points.
