A logical action game from the creators of Clash of Clans, in which we direct ghost hunters fighting against phenomena. The production uses fun mechanics known from other match-3 titles, but also adds some interesting solutions, including power-ups and interactive elements of the environment.
Spooky Pop, released on AND and iOS, is another game by the renowned Supercell studio, engaged in the production of games for mobile devices (Clash of Clans, Hay Day and Boom Beach). This time, the developers created a title belonging to the genre of match-3 puzzles. However, this is not another clone of Candy Crush Saga, but kind of an action game based on the free-to-play business model (a free game with optional microtransactions).
Plot
Spooky Pop tells the story of a professor who opened the transition to a different dimension. Unfortunately, this achievement didn't bring him glory. Instead, it brought great danger to our planet in the form of numerous spirits. The player's task is to get rid of the problem by guiding the ghost hunters.
Mechanics
Spooky Pop is divided into a number of short stages, in which we fight our opponents in a turn-based system. The game is based on classic match-3 rules - we combine vertically and horizontally at least three elements of the same color. In this way, we supply energy to the plasma cannons of our characters. There is only one goal - to get rid of all enemies.
We can use various power-ups, making the game a little easier to play. During the game, you can use your ability to heal or push enemies backward to get extra time. Also, the gameplay is diversified by interactive elements like exploding barrels.
