Game Features
East Coast Games has taken the familiar paradigm of typical alien verses human stories and flipped it. Our game takes place in a galaxy one million light years away from Earth, on a planet with a light source of a slow moving but unimaginably huge red comet, inhabited by the Ematrants, an intelligent humanoid species, previously unknown. In our story, humans are the invaders. And thus, in our story, by definition, it is humans that are technically the aliens. Given the depth and looming criticality of the bitter conflict… the insatiable thirst for revenge… and the implications to each species’ very survival – the magnitude of coming war can not be denied. In the end, it simply comes down to two species, with one goal – to eradicate any trace of the other.
Following are some of the astonishing resources you will be able to command and/or roles you will be able to assume - as you take up arms to fight for the survival of your species. As you can clearly see, neither species will be coming to play.
It’s an age old battle of good verses evil… right verses wrong. But, who is right, and who is wrong? In the ‘Spoils of War’ you decide. Choose your side. Choose your desired mode of battle – whether you will most effectively serve in a Battlefield Commander or First-Person Character role. If you choose Battlefield Commander, you decide whether, during your mission, you will solely serve as a leader and strategist of forces, non-military resources, weaponry, facilities, etc. – or you will toggle, when the need arises, to a First-Person Character role to get in the thick of battle - to show your forces by example. As a Battlefield Commander, you will have the ability to lead your forces into war by air… by land…. The extent of your success is primarily up to you… whether you can effectively plan, strategize, communicate and lead… whether you can out think and outwit your formidable enemy.
