Spider-Man: The Silver Lining

The Silver Lining is the third expansion to Spider-Man. The add-on is not stand-alone (it requires the original version of the title). This DLC is the last part of the three-part campaign called The City That Never Sleeps (preceded by Turf Wars and The Heist episodes).

Plot

The mercenary Silver Sable, known from the basic version of the game, returns in The Silver Lining. This time, she is trying to recover stolen technology from Sable International. Spider-Man tries to help her to minimize the threat to the city. However, it may turn out that the execution of the mission will require unexpected alliances.

Mechanics

Just like previous expansions, The Silver Lining enriches the game mainly with new story missions, crimes, enemy bases (modified Hammerhead headquarters) and challenges. There are also three new costumes and a number of challenges and trophies waiting for players.

Game modes

The Silver Lining DLC does not offer any new game modes.

Technical aspects

The expansion does not change the audiovisuals. The game looks the same regardless of whether you install the expansion or not.
