SpaceBourne

At some point, the killing sickness also got to the commander. To save him, it was decided to put him in a cryogenic sleep and wake him up when the cure was invented.

The player takes on the role of "Commander", who wakes up. However, the hero is not on Earth, but on an abandoned station orbiting the planet. Only one spaceship is docked to the station. It also turns out that the rest of the people are extinct and "Commander" became the only representative of the species.

Mechanics

SpaceBourne offers a lot of freedom. The developers have prepared space with one hundred solar systems, four hundred planets, thirty-seven space stations and many different anomalies (e.g. black holes). Their location and content are randomly generated at the start of the adventure.

The player sits at the helm of the ship and can deal with trade, cargo, piracy or rescue of damaged ships. The game world is inhabited by various aliens, who can trade with the hero or assign him tasks to perform. But not every faction has peaceful intentions. During the adventure, we also have many fights with enemy units. All skirmishes are conducted in real time.

An important part of the game is also to improve your ship. The game offers a number of modules that can be mounted in it. In addition, new spaceships with different properties and functions can be purchased during the adventure.

SpaceBourne also has a character development system. For each battle won and task completed, the player receives experience points needed to advance to the next level and unlock new abilities.

Technical aspects

SpaceBourne was created on Unreal Engine 4, which allowed to get a detailed, dark tone graphic design.
