Space Camp is a fun arcade game, in which we can play the role of an astronaut. The game was published by Activision Blizzard. The devs of the title cooperated with the United States Space & Rocket Center in Alabama.

Many young people dream of becoming astronauts. This extremely difficult and demanding profession could be taken up by only a handful of people so far. Thanks to Space Camp the player can take on the role of an astronaut and undergo demanding training to finally go on a mission to the moon. On its surface, many incredible adventures and unusual challenges are waiting, such as the need to repel an alien invasion. The game has been kept in a loose and very entertaining tone.

We start the game as a young recruit of a space program and we take part in the sibsequent stages of the difficult training. After the training, we can go to Earth's natural satellite, the Moon. Funny missions and tasks sometimes correspond in a simplified form to operations carried out by real astronauts, but usually have nothing to do with them, offering good entertainment above all.

In the presence of some technical issues we have to find a way to get back to Earth. In order to achieve this goal, we have to perform a number of activities, often presented in the form of mini-games. Our faithful robot turns out to be very helpful in the whole adventure. It helps not only to defend the Moon against space invaders but also to control vehicles, cannons and carry out scientific experiments.

The game is designed for both younger and older users, so the title offers simple and intuitive controls (using the specific capabilities of Nintendo) as well as clear and funny visuals.
