An adventure logic puzzle FPP game created by Wales Interactive, and a spiritual successor to Master Reboot. The story of Soul Axiom takes place in the far future, when death is no longer a problem and people are mass-uploading their souls into a server called Elysia, where all their fantasies and dreams come true.
Soul Axiom for PC, PS4 and etc. is a logic puzzle adventure FPP game. It was created by Wales Interactive, the developers of such titles as Master Reboot (of which Soul Axiom is a spiritual successor), Gravity Badgers and Infinity Runner.
Plot
The story of Soul Axiom takes place in the future. People are-mass-uploading their souls to a server called Elysia—one of humanity's greatest inventions. Thanks to Elysia, death is no longer a problem, and the server can fulfil the fantasies and dreams of every soul within it. However, something went wrong during the upload process of the soul of the game's protagonist, and when he arrives on the other side, he doesn't know absolutely anything—neither who he is nor how he ended up there. Your task is to discover his story, step by step.
Mechanics
The mechanics of Soul Axiom for PC, PS4 and etc. are focused on two elements: exploration of the world and solving logic puzzle. Since the setting is a digital world with no boundaries, the locations can be quite surreal—from an odd glowing forest, through temples, to a futuristic place resembling those from the movie Tron. The game features 40 maps in total and over 100 puzzles, mostly based on the correct application of the laws of physics and manipulating the environment. Moreover, during the game you gain various abilities, which come in handy in later stages, and your actions have an impact on the story's ending. The whole playthrough takes over 20 hours to complete.
Technical aspects
Soul Axiom for PC, PS4 and etc. features distinctive, attractive visuals and rich soundtack, consisting of fifty tracks that fit the mood perfectly.

[1:28] Soul Axiom launch trailer
Gaming Nexus: 7 / 10 by Rob Larkin
There's a lot going on around a game that doesn't really have a lot going on in it. At its core Soul Axiom is a first person puzzler with a minimalist look and feel and mostly underwhelming puzzles. While the game won't really draw you into its narrative or challenge your abilities, it does provide a pleasant stroll through an imaginary world. You don't have to play this game, but if you want to sit back and have someone walk you through a tale while having to pencil in a few puzzles along the way, then Wales Interactive have a story at the ready. It won't blow you away, but you should be entertained enough to appreciate the effort.
We Got This Covered: 2.5 / 5 by Eric Hall
Certain sections of Soul Axiom are as memorable as Wales Interactive would like them to be. Unfortunately, however, these moments are buried under a lacklustre and confusing storyline and simplistically dull puzzles.
Push Square: 5 / 10 by Ken Talbot
Wales Interactive's Tron-like puzzle game has great atmosphere, a compelling setting, and an engaging concept – but it's ultimately not that interesting to play. The story lacks pace and substance, while the puzzles are lacking in difficulty and nuance – especially given that the powers used to solve them quickly become tiresome.
