A science-fiction space shooter created by Elder Games - an independent, Hungarian team. The player is given command of a prototype spacecraft known as Phase Shifter - it has the unique ability to perform space-time jumps. The game offers an extensive storyline set across many different worlds and the player's main goal is to escape a dying star system.

Solar Shifter EX is a science-fiction shoot‘em up game developed by Elder Games and published by Headup Games (The Dark Eye: Skilltree Saga, Meridian: New World, Bridge Constructor Medieval, among other productions) for PCs.

In the game, the players take command of a spaceship called Phase Shifter, which is the only vessel capable of initiating space-time jumps. Thanks to these, players are able to escape even the most hopeless situations, such as being surrounded and shot at from every direction.

The game offers effective storyline that takes place across many various worlds. The main goal is to escape a dying star system as quickly as possible. It is no easy task, though, given the necessity of fighting huge battles against grand enemy fleets. The campaign is divided into a number of missions. Between the subsequent assignments, we may improve our vessel on several different levels.
