Snowtopia: Ski Resort Tycoon is an economic strategy that allows us to create our own ski resort from scratch. The game was developed by the independent French team Tea for Two.

Mechanics

Snowtopia: The Tycoon Ski Resort takes us to the mountains, to be precise, to a vast peak where we are to build our own ski resort from scratch. Although it should eventually become a real Mecca for winter sports enthusiasts, initially our possibilities are limited, so we have to settle for one simple route and one single lift. With time, however, more and more skiers will begin to convince themselves of our ideas, and their satisfaction will translate into the wealth of our wallet. In this way, we will be able to develop by drawing new lines, expanding the infrastructure and employing employees who will make sure that everything works as it should.

We have to remember that people visiting our center differ not only in their skills but also in their preferences. Among the twelve archetypes of skiers present in the game we will find both children and novices, as well as relatively advanced athletes, rising stars or even the elderly and so-called artistic minds. While some people are not disturbed by concrete blocks, if the routes we have set out provide them with an appropriate level of challenge, others put landscape and picturesque architecture above the technical difficulties.

Technical aspects

Despite its simplicity, the graphic design of the game Snowtopia: Ski Resort Tycoon could be appealing. The graphics is maintained in a pleasant to the eye, cartoon-like style; moreover, limited coloring makes it very clear.
