Black Mist is the second installment in the Skyhill series, started back in 2015. It is an action adventure game with RPG elements developed by the authors of the first part of the series - the independent Russian studio Mandragora.
Plot
The action of Skyhill: Black Mist is set in a universe created for the needs of the original. During the game, players take on the role of a freshly hired employee of Skyhill, a biotech corporation that controls the entire city. Shortly after moving to an apartment, the protagonist's daughter is kidnapped as he becomes a target for crazy cultists and mysterious, aggressive monsters. At the same time, the black fog that surrounds the city turns people into the aforementioned monsters and also gradually kills players' protégé.
Mechanics
In Skyhill: Black Mist, players have a vast area at their disposal that they can freely explore. The action is shown from the top-down perspective. While traversing these locations, players have to look behind every corner, looking for medicines that support the life functions of the hero and various raw materials that allow them to create useful objects and weapons. In addition, fighting opponents plays a significant role. One can eliminate them both in open clashes and by sneaking behind their backs and killing them quietly. Setting traps for them is also an option..

The visuals in Skyhill: Black Mist are maintained in a typical comic book style known from the original.
