The next installment of the sports series devoted to ski jumping, created by the native Vivid Games studio. The game allows you to play the full career mode, from the Continental Cup competitions to the actual World Cup including the 4-Hills-Tournament and team competitions.
Ski Jumping Pro is the next installment of the best-selling sports series, launched in 2010 by the Vivid Games studio in Bydgoszcz. As after the premiere of the previous part of the cycle, Android users received its improved edition (known as Super Ski Jump), this time the possibility of repeating the successes of Adam Malysz was reserved exclusively for owners of mobile devices with iOS system.
We start the game traditionally by creating our own player, which is described by five main parameters: focus, take-off, in-run, flight and landing. As the game progresses, we will develop these qualities through training and the purchase of better and better equipment such as skis, gloves, shoes, costumes and helmets. Unfortunately we won't see the real names of the jumpers in the game, but the authors tried to get the licenses of all 32 World Cup hills, among which you will also find objects in Wisla and Zakopane. However, the differences between the hills are not noticeable and mainly boil down to a different landscape and surroundings of the facility.
The basic mode of the game is, of course, a career, the entrance to which is the Continental Cup competition. After passing them we will unlock the opportunity to take part in the relevant World Cup, including events such as the Four Hills Tournament or team competitions. The creators foresaw two different control models, dedicated to both beginners and the more experienced players. In the first of them, the jumping comes down to making three clicks responsible for take-off, rebound and landing in due time. The advanced model requires additional body balancing during the flight, and we do it using a touch screen or a gyroscope.
Ski Jumping Pro is distinguished by high quality three-dimensional graphics and good - as for mobile devices - player animation. During gameplay, the camera shows the player's eye view and the picturesque landscapes and weather effects add charm to the game. The sporting struggles are accompanied by a calm soundtrack and a commentator excited by our feats. It is also worth noting that with the first major update of Ski Jumping Pro it has been enriched with a fully fledged, asynchronous multiplayer mode, allowing you to compete with live players via Game Center.
