SingStar Guitar is a music game produced by Sony Computer Entertainment for instrumental music enthusiasts on PlayStation 3. The developers have implemented support for guitar controllers known from the Guitar Hero and Rock Band series. Thanks to this, players can test not only their vocal skills, but also those related to playing musical instruments.

SingStar Guitar is a music game from a series created by Sony, which so far has focused only on singing (karaoke). This time the creators decided to enrich the idea with the possibility of playing on popular guitar controllers.

In the game we get standard elements known from previous SingStars, which is a lot of the most popular songs in the karaoke version. Unlike the previous versions of the series, players can try their vocal skills with a microphone and additionally play on any controller known from Guitar Hero or Rock Band (compatible with the PlayStation 3 console).

The authors have prepared several game modes, which allow up to four players to play together. In most of them some of the players sing into the microphone, and the rest of them "accompanies" by holding guitar controllers in their hands. Thanks to this, people who were ashamed of their musical abilities can join the fun.

Standard production is supported by a large number of additional packages, including 2,000 songs available in the so-called SingStore. Additional songs and game modes appear in the shop.
