An adventure game which is a continuation of the 2017 production. The title gives the player the task of solving a criminal riddle. The authors of the first part, i.e. developers from the independent Kaigan Games studio, are responsible for its development.
Simulacra 2 is an original adventure game and a of the 2017 game released on PC and mobile devices. The game gives the player the task of solving a murder mystery - our only tool and trace is the victim's phone. The title was developed by Kaigan Games - the authors of the first part and based a similar title called Sara is Missing. The role of publisher was undertaken by Another India.
Plot
A young influencer and social media star dies in mysterious circumstances. All indications are that her death was not an accident and one of the three suspects is most likely responsible for her death. An experienced detective named Murilo asks us to help him solve the mystery. The answers are hidden on the dead woman's phone.
Mechanics
The gameplay in Simulacra 2 is based on browsing the victim's phone, visible on the screen, in search of clues that will lead us to the murderer. In the device we will find photos, videos, a list of connections with the address book, text messages and various applications.
The game also makes enbales us to interview suspects - we have to ask the right questions based on the information gathered in the analyzed smartphone. The game ends when we manage to solve the mystery and reach the heart of the story prepared by the creators. It won't be that easy, because in the universe of Simulacra 2 almost nothing is as it seems at first.
Game modes
Simulacra 2 can only be played. The mainstay of the game is the story campaign.
Technical aspects
Simulacra 2 features simple visuals, which consists of an interface, as well as recorded videos and photos that we observe on the screen. In the same way, scenes with other characters were created.
