SimFarm is another creation of Maxis company, created on the wave of great popularity of SimCity. This time, however, the player will not play the role of the mayor of the city, but will become the real farmer, who by breeding plants and animals must create a real farm.
At the beginning of the game we choose the region where we want to locate our farm. Then we get a certain amount of money and a completely free hand in the design of our agricultural empire. The program allows you to invest in the cultivation of as many as sixteen plants, which are characterized by different ripening periods, as well as variable resistance to diseases and weather conditions. It should be remembered that the very designation of the field for cultivation is not everything yet. It is equally important to take care of the purchase of plant protection products and machinery, which will plant and harvest our crops. If the region is hit by frequent torrential rainfall, drainage channels will have to be made and, in the event of prolonged drought, a water pump will have to be bought and installed. There is also a flock at SimFarm, but it has been treated after a stepmother. Only horses, pigs, cows and sheep are available. Although animals only need three things: water, food and barns, their breeding is still unprofitable (profits from the sale of pigs are incomparably smaller than those from cultivation). Next to our farm, the city will also develop (what is more interesting, its size depends on our progress). In it we will make loans, buy new land for cultivation and also rent equipment if we can't afford it on our own.
SimFarm is an unusual but also very interesting game. Nice and legible graphics, a large number of charts and various summaries allow you to feel the farmer's work and see that it is not an easy piece of bread.
