Silent Service II is a submarine simulation created by Microprose studio. The action of the game was set in the realities of World War II. The player has the opportunity to play the role of commander of an American unit fighting in the Pacific. The creators prepared 7 models of submarines, which can be managed, as well as several variants of the game, including a campaign, single scenarios and training missions.

"Silent Service II" is an undeniable classic of computer games. It is a sequel to the "Silent Service" submarine simulator created in 1986 by Microprose, then specializing primarily in the creation of realistic war simulators (including F-15 Strike Eagle, Gunship, F-19 Stealth Fighter). The action of this title allows the player to become the captain of an American submarine from World War II taking part in the American-Japanese clashes in the Pacific. You can command nine types of American submarines, and sink fourteen types of Japanese ships, including nine warships and five transport ships (we can even sink a Japanese super battleship Yamato). The creators have prepared several game modes, including single historical scenarios, a campaign, and special training missions to familiarize themselves with the submarine and learn how to carry out successful torpedo attacks. The game has VGA graphics, which at that time was a great achievement.
