Ships 2017 Description
Ships 2017 published on PC is another simulation published by PlayWay and developed by an independent studio FragOut.
Mechanics
Ships 2017 lets you take control over three different ships – a container ship, a deepwater construction vessel, and a semi-submarine transport vessel. The action takes place on waters of Baltic Sea where you need to perform different tasks – starting with rescue missions, through taking transport cruises, ending with mounting diverse installations, or even retrieving objects sunken in the depths of the sea.
As it is a simulation, performing missions is complicated by the necessity of paying careful attention to complex parameters – they describe how particular elements of a given vessel work. Moreover, ships get damaged, but they can be repaired due to the implemented renovation system. Additionally, a special game mode enables you to take direct control over a particular crewmember and extinguish fires or even defend against pirate attacks. Fire extinguishers, searchlights, and water cannons come in handy while performing these special actions.
Technical aspects
Ships 2017 for PC utilises decent, 3D visuals. Also, realistically-mapped water and ship models designed in minute-detail deserve recognition.
