Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage Description
Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage is a direct sequel to Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip – by far the best-received version of Shaun White Snowboarding, mainly due to its great control system that used the Balance Board. The game was created by Ubisoft Montreal Studio, the same that created the first part. It is noteworthy that good reviews Road Trip received and its great sales were main causes for the announcement of World Stage exclusively on Nintendo Wii.
World Stage allows you to see many breathtaking locations, perfectly fit for unbound skateboarding. Not only you get to visit slopes of France, Canada, or Japan, but also take part in an unusual competition in New York’s Time Square. This famous place was turned into a place of half-pipe contest and snowboarding in Big Air.
Just as in Road Trip, here you can also play as several snowboarders. Among them there is red-haired Shaun White, one of the most famous pros in contemporary snowboarding.
The game shows off impressive graphics, kept in cartoon-like stylistics. This way the developers managed to create a really beautiful game, despite the console’s hardware limits. Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage also uses the Balance Board, offering unique experience. The mat, included in Wii Fit set, serves as a “snowboard” for the game.
