A detective adventure published in the form of four independent episodes. The game tells the story of a former priest who gets involved in a conspiracy reaching the heights of the Catholic Church's power. The game consists mainly in talking to independent characters, exploring the location and searching for objects necessary to solve riddles.

Shadows on the Vatican is an episodic adventure point ‘n’ click game loosely based on a bestseller novel by David Yallop called In God’s Name. It was developed by 10th Art Studio.

The players assume the role of an American named James Murphy, a former priest, who received a disturbing message one day. His old friend who lives in Rome ran into serious trouble and Murphy is the only person who can help him. Once he arrived at Rome, James uncovered that somebody had stolen a suitcase full of documents incriminating the Church, and Vatican will stop at nothing to reclaim it. During his adventure, Murphy not only shall face a huge conspiracy, but also deal with questions that are going to shake everything he believes in.

Shadows on the Vatican is a classic point ‘n’ click adventure game. Most of the time, we search subsequent locations, gather various items, have conversations and solve puzzles. Each episode lets us visit at least ten extensive places and provides a few hours of gameplay.
