Shadow of the Tomb Raider: The Grand Caiman

The Grand Caiman is the sixth DLC for the action adventure game titled Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The authors of the original, i.e. the Eidos Montreal studio and the Crystal Dynamics team are responsible for this production.

Plot

In Shadow of the Tomb Raider: The Grand Caiman, Lara Croft's task is to confront the furious deity that is threatening the villagers of San Juan. To do this, the protagonist has to face the dangers lurking within a volcanic tomb. Her task is made more difficult by the fact that the mercenaries of the Trinity are constantly treading on her heels.

Mechanics

In addition to the tomb mentioned above, in Shadow of the Tomb Raider: The Grand Caiman the authors provide us with a new outfit for the protagonist, namely the Reptile Hide outfit; it provides Miss Croft with projectile resistance and additional experience for killing enemies in combat. In addition, a new weapon has also been added (a suppressed shotgun), as well as a previously unavailable skill (the Volcano), which allows the protagonist to produce incendiary ammunition. Moreover, the expansion unlocks a new set of tombs, which can be checked out in the Score Attack and Time Attack modes.

Technical aspects

The Grand Caiman is not a stand-alone expansion, and it requires the basic version of the game in order to run.
