Fabula

Former gangster, Michael LeRoi, becomes a voodoo warrior, protecting the inhabitants of the living land from dangerous creatures coming from the world of the dead. He is entrusted with the mission to stop the plans of the mighty Legion, who plans to conquer the world with the help of the immortal armies. In order to prevent the apocalypse, heros has to face several anti-Christs, former serial murderers, as well as the challenges posed by the deities.

Shadow Man is an action game in which the camera presents the action from behind the character's back. Player-directed Michael has to overcome a total of sixteen significant levels, facing platform and logic challenges and the enemies he encounters. The creators have prepared a bestiary game that fits well into the reality of the game, including zombies, skeletons and ghosts. In battles with them, the title heros can use traditional weapons, including a pistol, rifle and rifle, but also magical artifacts. Using the latter, however, is associated with consuming some of the magical energy possessed by the hero.

In the course of exploring LeRoi collects Black Souls, necessary to unlock further maps and find form-forming small orange objects, with which he can increase his health bar in one of the deities. He also acquires new abilities, helping him to overcome selected obstacles. The game allows you to freely return to previously completed levels in order to explore all the nooks and crannies and check previously blocked roads.

Technical issues

Shadow Man is a three-dimensional game based on a series of comic books published in the nineties of the 20th century. The authors have made sure that the atmosphere from the publication is properly reproduced, creating a dark and brutal virtual world. The main character was voiced by Redd Pepper, who also worked in the cast of Gothic or Blade.
