Game Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice was an artistic success (earning high ratings, as well as a number of industry awards) and commercial success (finding one million buyers by June 2018).. In the first installment of the series, the protagonist descends into the depths of Viking hell to save the soul of her slain beloved. In the second part of the series, the girl travels to Iceland, where her task is to face the forces of darkness and a ruthless tyrant.

In productions under the banner of Hellblade the first fiddle is played by the theme of the disease from which the main character suffers.. Its signs are various visions, as well as visual and audio hallucinations in the form of figures and shapes she sees and voices she hears.
