"Sega Rally 2006" is an arcade rally race. The production was prepared with a view to the tenth anniversary of the creation of the series.
"Sega Rally 2005" is an arcade rally race. The production was prepared with a view to the tenth anniversary of the creation of the series. As a result, apart from the standard options, it contains many special add-ons and bonuses waiting to be discovered.
There are three main game modes in the game:
- Career - an option unknown so far in the series, in which we have to overcome the career path from the yellowfinch to the professional rally driver;
- Quick Race - a fast race unrelated to the competition, you have to overcome the route and of course not give the remaining drivers the slightest chance;
- Time Attack - we are the only ones on the route, but we have to be at the finish line before time runs out.
The creators of the game tried to make sure that as many licensed rally cars appeared in "Sega Rally 2005". Players can drive cars such as Subaru Impreza, Citroen Xsara, Toyota Celica and Lancia Stratos. The races take place on routes located in various locations around the globe, including the Japanese mountains, European forests and the desert territories of Africa.
The game has many innovative solutions. "Sega Rally 2005" is based on a special engine prepared for this production called ACG (Automatic Course Generation). It has the ability to generate the appearance of the route (e.g. once at a turn there are cottages and trees, another time in the same place is the wilderness). In addition, it can generate any weather conditions and time of day, which is particularly noticeable on the longest routes. In this game, every time we are faced with a completely fresh route to overcome. The best of them can be saved on a memory card to meet them later or share with friends.
