Mechanics

In Second-Loop we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The game takes us to various locations, among which huge industrial complexes dominate, and is based on three pillars.

The first of these is fighting against opponents, which we eliminate using firearms and melee weapons. Enemies, like mutants and aggressive machines, fight fiercely and can also adapt to our style of play, using various tactics.

The second pillar of fun involves physics-based logic puzzles. Solving them requires the clever use of the power of telekinesis, which allows us to grab, lift and dismantle various objects. We may need to stop and figure out the correct solution to push the action forward.

The third pillar of the game is the ability to take control of a mech causing panic on the battlefield. We can also use other machines and vehicles. We can construct the latter ones ourselves based on parts found in the places we visit. The game gives us a lot of freedom in terms of what we can create - we can design both tanks and aircrafts, as well as boats, and even sports cars.
