Scriptarians: The Tournament is a puzzle game with educational elements (learning how to program), created by Artifex Mundi studio. Players have the opportunity to try their hand as programmers and create programs to control the actions of a group of heroses from the fantasy world. The game is based on entering instructions in the code and verifying their operation in action.

Scriptarians: The Tournament is the debut project of Artifex Mundi studio in Zabrze. Developers took inspiration from a cult production from the 80s of the last century - Core War, however, adapting the gameplay to the expectations of modern gamers and the technical capabilities of modern computers.

The action of the game is set in a fantasy world, in which a team consisting of a magician, priest, archer and barbarian participates in the prestigious tournament The Scriptarians. Unlike most games, the task of players is not to control the actions of characters in combat, but to create appropriate programs that will use the strengths of each member of the group and ensure victory in a battle with their opponents.

Creating scripts in Scriptarians: The Tournament is based on introducing instructions similar to those used in popular programming languages. More experienced players can use their own skills, while the laymen are provided with ready-made solutions.
