Mechanics

In Demonsomnia we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). Unlike most productions of this type, the events are not presented from the hero's eyes, but from a camera attached to his body (the so-called bodycam).

We traverse the forest shrouded in thick fog with weapons in hand, as threats in the form of aggressive people and mutated creatures may lurk almost at every step. We eliminate enemies using pistols, machine guns and other weapons. Since facing them alone is often not the best idea, after identifying the threat, it is worth communicating with the other team members via radio to gain their support.

Along the way we collect various items that will be useful in hunting the demon (from salt to a crucifix). We often find them in the most irradiated places, so they're tricky to get.

Game modes

Demonsomnia allows to play alone, but it offers optimal experience in cooperation mode for up to four people. It's possible to play with other people through the Internet or on a local network.
