Eternal Threads features elements of adventure and puzzle games. We play as an agent who manipulates the timeline in order to save the victims of a certain fire. The game was developed by the British company Cosmonaut Studios.
Eternal Threads is an adventure and logic game in which we play as an agent trying to eliminate anomalies in the timeline, related to a certain fire that occurred in 2015 in the UK. It was developed and published by independent Cosmonaut Studios.
Eternal Threads tells the story of a tragedy that happened in the north of England in 2015. Six people died in a fire one night, and their deaths led to a distortion of the timeline. The player takes on the role of an agent assigned to save the victims. However, the protagonist cannot simply stop the event itself.
In Eternal Threads, the action is usually observed from a first-person perspective. The game can be divided into two segments. In the first, we influence the timeline, shaping the choices of individual characters at specific moments. In the second we explore the environment and observe the consequences of our actions. It is worth noting that we can repeatedly approach each sequence, looking for the best possible way out of a situation.
The main task of the player is to arrange everything in such a way that all victims survive, but it is worth remembering that our decisions also have a far-reaching impact on the lives of each person. It's up to us whether we'll choose the easy option, or try to arrange events in such a way that the characters will be happy.
In Eternal Threads , we can only play alone. The core of the game is the story campaign.
Eternal Threads offers decent 3D graphics. Technologically, the game doesn't offer anything we haven't seen before, but the 3D environment is quite detailed and atmospheric.

Game Ratings for Eternal Threads Video Game.
Washington Post: by Alyse Stanley
“Eternal Threads” almost seems aware that it’s not building a strong case for your emotional investment in whether these six people live or die. Throughout the game, mission control chimes in to remind you that these people’s lives definitely matter, that the average person has such and such number of descendants, so the fate of these six people and, more importantly, whoever comes after them could ultimately decide the fate of the world. And while that’s all technically true, I suppose, I can’t help but feel that “Eternal Threads” would have found infinitely more success laying the foundation for players to care about its existing characters instead of hinging your investment on theoretical stakes.
GameSpew: 10 / 10 by Kim Snaith
You won’t have played anything like Eternal Threads before, and unless Cosmonaut Studios makes a follow-up, you likely never will again. This is a remarkable piece of storytelling, expertly written and crafted, weaving together the ordinary and the futuristic to create something incredibly compelling. You won’t want to put it down, and once you’ve finished, you’ll be thinking about it for weeks to come. It truly is something special.

Eternal Threads presents a unique story with some of the best writing and character development I've experienced this year. Though it's a short and simple experience, I found myself glued to the screen to see what happens next. There isn't much else for you to do in Eternal Threads, making it the definition of a walking simulator, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
