A puzzle game in which our task is to build a city and fill it with the tallest and most prestigious buildings. The SubaraCity game brings to mind the renowned Tetris - by combining colourful blocks of the same colour, we increase the size and splendour of the structures located on them.
SubaraCity is a puzzle game inspired by the renowned Tetris, developed by Ryuji Kuwaki. The production appeared on consoles and mobile devices.
Mechanics
Our task in SubaraCity is to build a prosperous town and fill it with the tallest possible buildings. Over the course of the game, colourful blocks with different buildings will appear on the two-dimensional board; by combining elements of the same colour, we increase the size and prestige of the structures located on them. Although we start with empty plots of land, which then become detached houses, over time we build blocks of flats and skyscrapers on them and finally turn them into characteristic buildings like the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Statue of Liberty, and even the Tower of Babel.
Technical issues
SubaraCity has lucid graphics in a light, cartoony style. While on mobile devices the title is distributed through a free-to-play model, on consoles it is available for a fee.

SubaraCity is a colorfully minimalist puzzle game on that is a fun and simple release to enjoy on Nintendo Switch. The gameplay is easy to understand, and trying to beat your high score will keep you coming back to play some more. The game could have benefitted from having an online leaderboard, but this is not a deal-breaker.

SubaraCity is a simple game that you can easily master after you learn the little bit of strategy that's required.
NintendoWorldReport: 6.5 / 10 by Casey Gibson
A relaxed and casual take on the classic block-matching genre, there's a level of charm I found to be enduring with its simplistic nature and easy to grasp gameplay. There is a level of strategy needed, as just one or two wrong moves can sink an otherwise promising run. Unfortunately though, with just the single game mode there's a good chance the legs fall out from underneath it sooner rather than later.
