Schrodinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark Description
Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark is an original platform game set in the world of quantum physics. Italic Pig, an independent studio, is responsible for its creation. The game was published by Team 17 as part of its support program for independent artists.
Plot
The game's title is a fairly obvious reference to Indiana Jones' adventures. This hero is also represented by the titular Schrödinger's cat, who is known in the world of science as a part of the thought experiment of Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger from 1935. When an unexplained event occurs in a molecular zoo, as a result of which the place is controlled by malicious elementary particles, the cat is called upon to restore order.
Mechanics
In Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark, our mission is to catch all the escapees from the quantum theme park, including gluons prone to kleptomania and irritating bosons. The game is a mix of arcade elements typical for platformers with numerous logical puzzles, consisting of combining useful particles of temporary matter to create bridges, ladders or grenades, capable of stopping raging leptons.
Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark combines a crazy and somewhat abstract plot with the mechanics of classic platformers from the '80s and '90s. All of this was enriched with several original solutions and modern, fabulously colorful graphics.
