SBK 22 is the eleventh installment of the famous motorcycle racing game series based on the Superbike World Championship license, released 10 years after the previous one. It offers realistic driving physics and lets you play in single-player as well as multiplayer modes, with an extensive career at the top.
SBK 22 is a reactivation of the popular series of motorcycle racing games under the license of the Superbike World Championship, made after a 10-year break. Like before, it was developed by the Italian studio Milestone, which specializes in this genre.
Gameplay
When creating SBK 22, the developer used the experience it gained in previous years, releasing successive installments of the MotoGP series. As a result, the game features realistic driving physics, an extensive career mode, detailed replicated race tracks or an advanced A.N.N.A. artificial intelligence system.
Game fully recreates the 2022 season, i.e. it includes all the motorcycles, teams, tracks and riders involved in real competition.
As part of the career mode, we not only compete in successive races - preceded by practice and qualification - but also manage our own team, which we can create from scratch (designing our own paint job for machines, helmets or suits). We hire specialists for various positions, take care of finances and deal with technological development to improve the performance of motorcycles.
You need to control the fuel and tire condition of the machine, and you can configure various parameters of the machine. Beginners can use a number of assists to lower the difficulty of the game.
Game modes
SBK 22 can be played in single- and multiplayer modes. Up to 12 players can participate in online races. Time trials with online rankings are also available.
