Sancticide

The protagonist of Sancticide is Ezechiel, a fresh official of "The Top". The hero will have to face not only the collection of sins, but also his own suffering. The main plot focuses on these issues, while side quests allow for a deeper dive into the daily life of sin collectors.

Gameplay

Sancticide is a third-person action game with combat as its central part. Assuming the role of Ezechiel, we can use various types of melee (including the gladius sword) and long-range weapons. During the fights we perform directional strikes and use combos, which allows us to handle even bigger groups of opponents.

We also use the hero's special abilities related to his profession. The key skill of a sin collector is mastering the Purple, a supernatural power that allows to influence the environment. The powers of Ezechiel are divided into three types: kinetic (allowing the move beings or objects), active (sowing destruction or manipulating perception), and passive (supporting our character).

An important element of Sancticide is the question of how "The Top" determines what or who is acceptable or condemned. In the game we encounter characters and items belonging to the Kosher or Non-Kosher group. This division affects the ways of solving quests, relationships between characters, equipment or available locations.
