Samurai Warriors Chronicle 3, released on PSV and 3DS, is the next installment of the Samurai Warriors series. Omega Force studio, known from previous parts of the series and titles such as Dynasty Warriors, Hyrule Warriors or Warriors Orochi, is responsible for the production.

Mechanics

The gameplay in Samurai Warriors Chronicle 3 is about leading a team consisting of four characters, between whom you can switch at any time. As you progress through levels, it is not uncommon for several missions to take place at the same time. It is, therefore, necessary to send warriors to the right place. This necessitates a strategic approach, as separating the team weakens it, but at the same time allows for better control of the battlefield. During fights, we use several techniques - Hyper Attacks (attacking while moving the character), Mighty Strike (a powerful blow finishing the opponent), Rage Attacks (a technique that can be done after filling the Spirit Strip) and Kaiden (the most powerful attacks in the game, performed by using the Musou technique during Rage Attack).
