The next installment of the Samurai Shodown series. The action of the title takes place in Japan at the end of the 18th century, and its history presents many authentic events and characters, which are extend with typically fantastic elements.
Samurai Shodown is a classic fighting game set in Japan at the end of the 18th century. The game was developed by SNK, a Japanese company founded in the late 1970s. Over the years, the developer has gained legendary status among fans of two-dimensional fighting and arcade games. The developer's catalogue includes many cult franchises, such as The King of Fighters and Metal Slug. Samurai Shodown is part of Samurai Shodown series. It was born in the '90s and was initially developed for arcade machines and Nego Geo consoles. Samurai Shodown was created after a ten-year break since the premiere of the previous part and is a great return of the studio to their samurai universe. The game runs on Unreal Engine 4.
