The second part of the cycle of brawlers, which takes us on a journey to the troubled city of Gunn City. In Samurai Gunn 2 the gameplay consists primarily of traversing locations and fighting gruesome duels, in which death is delivered with just a single accurate blow.

Samurai Gunn 2 is the continuation of the warmly received 2013 brawler created by the independent studio Teknopants. The production was published by Double Fine Presents (the publisher brand of Double Fine Productions).

Story

Samurai Gunn 2 takes us on a journey to the city of Gunn City, whose inhabitants are struggling with two major problems. Not only did this metropolis grow too quickly under the reign of a mad emperor, which led to the outbreak of an epidemic, but it is also facing the threat of mysterious, evil spirits. We step into the shoes of either the titular samurai, a princess, a golem or a homeless girl, and we take part in events that will change the fate of this place forever.

Mechanics

In Samurai Gunn 2 the action is shown from the side. The gameplay revolves around travelling through locations by using various platforms and avoiding traps, we also get the chance to fight in gruesome battles against our enemies while using a sword and a firearm. The skirmishes themselves will mostly challenge the reflexes of the player since both the hero and his opponents can be killed with a single punch.

Game modes

In Samurai Gunn 2 you can play the single-player mode or you can enjoy the company of up to three friends. The title allows for both multiplayer co-op in the adventure mode as well as for fast duels in a versus mode.
